Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
There are areas of the Services where SocialBubb or its service providers may automatically collect certain pieces of data as you use the Services and navigate elsewhere online, such as your IP address and other data about your internet connection, your operating system, browser type, and other services or equipment you use to access the Site and usage data about your interaction with SocialBubb’s Services. This automatically collected data generally does not identify any specific individual, but to the extent such data is reasonably capable of identifying you or another person, we will treat such data as Personal Information. For example, SocialBubb uses third-party service providers to help host the Services, and such hosting providers may have access to certain automatically collected data as a result.
You may be able to disable cookies by consulting your browser and/or computer settings. Please note that any disabling of cookies could affect how the Services appear and/or operate for you.
We may also use third-party analytics providers that could automatically collect certain data about you through the Services including, but not limited to, your IP address and/or other online identifiers which could qualify as Personal Information depending on where you live. Third-party cookies may be used through this process to track data such as the times you most frequently use the Services, what devices you use to access the Services, what parts of the Services you visit and the links you use to get there. These data and analytics service providers may use such information to track how you use the Services, measure the performance of the Services, improve features on the Services, and provide overall operating needs. SocialBubb may then use feedback from these service providers to improve the Services and our interactions with you.
All of the above-referenced IP addresses and other data will be collected in an automated manner and we may maintain it or associate it with certain other Personal Information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. This helps us improve our Services, deliver better and more personalized Services, estimate our audience size and usage patterns, and store information about your preferences.
By providing to SocialBubb the Personal Information and other data referenced above, you agree that SocialBubb may use such Personal Information and other data in accordance with the terms of this Policy.
Sharing Information
SocialBubb will share or permit third-party access to Personal Information collected through the Services as necessary to fulfill the business purposes for which the Personal Information was collected, as otherwise set forth below, or with the express consent of the user.
SocialBubb may share certain portions of Personal Information with vendors that help provide certain Services on behalf of SocialBubb in order to make those Services function properly. This may include sharing Personal Information with:
- hosting and platform providers that provide essential services to help us operate the Site, App and other Services;
- payment processors to administer any payments or transactions you authorize while using the SocialBubb Services;
- customer support service providers to process and respond to any questions, comments, or other feedback you may have about the SocialBubb Services;
- email marketing vendors to send you communications about SocialBubb Services and related features; and/or
- security and identity verification providers to help ensure your SocialBubb account is not subject to unauthorized access or use.
SocialBubb will disclose your Personal Information or other data if it reasonably believes it is required to do so by law or in cooperation with a government or law enforcement investigation. SocialBubb also may share Personal Information or other data in order to avoid imminent physical harm to any person or damage to property.
Personal Information received or held by SocialBubb may be transferred to any entity that succeeds to the assets or business of SocialBubb by any merger, consolidation, combination, reorganization, sale of assets, or in connection with any transfer as part of any insolvency or bankruptcy proceeding. Under such circumstances, SocialBubb will make reasonable efforts to cause any successor to agree to abide by the terms of this Policy.
We also may disclose your Personal Information to other service providers to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts related to your use of the Services, including for billing and collections, or as otherwise described to you at or before the point when we collect your Personal Information.
Other than what is referenced above, the Personal Information and other data collected from you is neither shared with nor sold to any person or entity outside of SocialBubb.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you reside, you may be able to exercise certain rights with respect to Personal Information SocialBubb has collected about you, such as rights to:
- Confirm whether SocialBubb has collected and is processing your Personal Information and, if so, you may have a right to access such data;
- Correct any inaccuracies about your Personal Information, depending on what kind of Personal Information it is and the purposes for which SocialBubb is processing that data;
- Delete Personal Information you provided to SocialBubb or that we have otherwise collected about you;
- Obtain a copy of Personal Information SocialBubb maintains about you in a portable and readily usable format, if technically feasible, that would allow you to transfer such Personal Information to another person or entity, where the applicable processing is carried out by automated means; and
- Opt-out of any processing of your Personal Information for the purposes of, as applicable, (1) targeted advertising based on your browsing behavior before and after you visit or use the Services, (2) any sale of your Personal Information, or (3) any profiling of you based on collected Personal Information in a way that would produce legal ramifications or similarly significant real-world effects on you.
If you would like to request the ability to access, review, edit, or delete any Personal Information that SocialBubb may have collected about you, opt-out of receiving further information from SocialBubb, limit what we share, or if you otherwise wish to exercise available privacy rights or ask SocialBubb to cease using your Personal Information in the manners specified in this Policy (subject to any applicable legal exceptions), please contact us at support@socialbubb.com.
SocialBubb may refuse any request made regarding collected Personal Information if it is unable to verify the identity of the person making the request or if it cannot authenticate the legitimacy of the request using commercially reasonable efforts. Under such circumstances, SocialBubb may follow up with you for additional information as reasonably necessary to authenticate your request. SocialBubb will use service providers to verify the identity of anyone that requests the disclosure or deletion of Personal Information. If you have a password-protected account with us, we will use our existing authentication procedures to verify your identity. For most other requests from anyone that does not have a password-protected account with us, SocialBubb will ask you to provide information that matches at least two pieces of Personal Information we store about you before responding to your request. If you would like to request specific pieces of your Personal Information we have collected, or if you would like us to delete highly sensitive information, you will need to provide information that matches at least three pieces of information we store about you, and you must provide a signed declaration that you are the individual whose Personal Information you are requesting.
When attempting to verify your identity, we will avoid asking you for more sensitive information such as your full name or payment information. Instead, we may ask you to provide other types of less sensitive information to match what we have in our records. For example, we may ask for part of your name or portions of the address for your home, office or business, among other types of information. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Information relates to you. We will only use Personal Information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.
Any removal of content by SocialBubb does not ensure or guarantee complete or comprehensive removal of the content in all places. The content may have been shared or reposted by other parties, or federal or state law may require maintenance of the content or information. SocialBubb will do its best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee we can remove all Personal Information from the specified uses. Therefore, please be as specific as possible in your request. If the request relates to information that SocialBubb needs to make the Services function properly for you, you may not be able to use the Services properly moving forward.
SocialBubb reserves the right to maintain proper business records as required by law, or for otherwise legitimate business purposes to the extent permitted by law, even if such records contain your Personal Information.
If you would like to opt-out of receiving promotional emails from SocialBubb, please follow the opt-out instructions at the bottom of the email or send us a detailed email at support@socialbubb.com.
SocialBubb does not knowingly collect any information from minors, nor are the Services directed at or intended for minors. If a minor uploads or posts information through the Services without authorization, and such information becomes publicly available, please contact us immediately at support@socialbubb.com with the subject heading “URGENT – Reporting Platform Activity by a Minor” and follow any additional instructions contained in the “Children’s Information” section of this Policy, below. If SocialBubb learns we have collected or received any minor’s Personal Information, we will delete such information immediately. Again, any removal of content by SocialBubb does not ensure or guarantee complete or comprehensive removal of the content in all places. The content may have been shared or reposted by other parties, or federal, state, or other applicable law may require maintenance of the content or information.
Some browsers have a ”do not track” feature that lets you tell web sites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. As referenced above, SocialBubb does not sell any Personal Information collected through the Services, which are not currently configured to respond to “do not track” or similar automated privacy controls. To learn more about ways to possibly opt-out of certain kinds of tracking that occur when you browse the internet generally and may lead to targeted advertising, visit the Network Advertising Initiative website and the Digital Advertising Alliance website. Options you select are browser- and device-specific, and there is no guarantee that these industry-provided opt-out tools will prevent all targeted advertising. As noted previously in this Policy, it is possible that certain third parties may collect or receive information through the Services. Since it is possible that some of these third parties may respond differently than SocialBubb to “do not track” requests, you should consult the applicable privacy policies of those third parties for that information.
Data Security and Retention
The Services use security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to ensure that any collected Personal Information is stored and maintained in a secure environment. The Services use managerial and technical safeguards designed to protect against the loss or unauthorized use or disclosure of Personal Information. These safeguards include SSL encryption.
While SocialBubb takes the issue of protecting your Personal Information seriously, you should exercise discretion in what information you disclose and/or transmit through the Services. SocialBubb cannot guarantee that information transmitted online is fully secure. The transmitted information may be intercepted by others before it reaches SocialBubb. SocialBubb is not responsible for the security of information transmitted online.
SocialBubb retains collected information for a reasonable amount of time in order to fulfill the stated purpose for why the information was collected. SocialBubb also will retain collected information connected to business records for periods of time required by law. If SocialBubb determines that collected information is no longer needed, it will delete such information. Our collection times will be consistent with applicable law.
Children’s Information
The Services are not directed at, marketed to, nor intended for, individuals under 16 years of age. No one under the age of 16 is permitted to provide any information on or through the Services. SocialBubb does not and will not knowingly collect any information, including Personal Information, from any person under 16 years of age and SocialBubb will take prompt steps to delete any such information if it is inadvertently received. If SocialBubb learns that we have received Personal Information from any person under 16 years of age, SocialBubb will delete that information. If you believe SocialBubb might have information from or about any person under 16 years of age, please contact us immediately at support@socialbubb.com, title the email “URGENT – Reporting Platform Activity by a Minor” and provide specific details that will allow SocialBubb to track down the applicable information as soon as possible.

If you provide information to SocialBubb from outside of the United States, you do so at your own risk. If you are outside of the United States, you are responsible for complying with any local laws regarding your use of the Services, and any related data collection. You also agree and acknowledge that by providing any information, including Personal Information, through the Services, that such information will be transmitted to, and stored in, the United States.

We at SocialBubb will work to engage, support, assist, and encourage our community members to achieve these goals of the community.
SocialBubb’s Services also are intended to provide an environment for content providers to present their content without annoying ads within group settings, and to promote respectful interaction while assuring the privacy of group members. Please note that any Personal Data you provide to SocialBubb through more direct communications, such as forms you complete and submit through our Site, emails, and customer support requests, may be transferred to our servers in the U.S. To the extent any such information is transferred into the U.S., your Personal Data may be disclosed to and processed by staff operating in the U.S. Disclosure will be to individuals who work for SocialBubb and companies with which we have contracted to process or store this data on SocialBubb’s behalf. The individuals and organizations that receive Personal Data as a result of international transfers out of the EU must follow our express instructions with respect to the use of Personal Data and they must comply with appropriate security measures to protect your information.
Some of our group companies and some third-party service providers may be based outside the European Economic Area (the “EEA,” which includes the 27 European Union Member States, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein). For more information on how we safeguard your Personal Data when this occurs, see the following section.
7. International Transfers of Personal Data
To deliver our Services, data collected through the App generally will be maintained in the UK and/or the EEA, but for certain other Services, as stated above, we may need to share your Personal Data with entities in other countries.
This means that Personal Data collected within the UK and/or the EEA could be transferred outside the EEA. For example, your Personal Data may be transferred outside the EEA:
- With our offices located outside the UK/EEA – this includes storage in the U.S.;
- With third-party service providers located outside of the UK/EEA; and/or
- Where there is an international dimension to the Services we are providing to you.
Transfers of Personal Data of individuals in the UK or EEA are subject to special rules under European and UK data protection law. This means we can only transfer Personal Data to a country outside the UK/EEA where:
- the European Commission has issued an ‘adequacy decision’ in relation to that country or international organisation;
- there are appropriate safeguards in place, together with enforceable rights and effective legal remedies for data subjects; or
- a specific exception applies under data protection law.
SocialBubb has put in place internal appropriate safeguards to allow the sharing of Personal Data collected from individuals within the UK and/or EEA with any other entities described in this Policy and ensures that any transfer to other third parties comply with the law.

Some browsers have a ”do not track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. SocialBubb does not currently have the capability to process these kinds of technical requests. To learn about options you may have regarding tracking for targeted advertising purposes, please visit the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance’s website at youronlinechoices.eu. Options you select are browser- and device-specific, and there is no guarantee that these industry-provided tools will prevent all targeted advertising.
